The Importance Of Censorship - 2149 Words

They say third times a charm, here’s hoping. I will mention this again, I don’t want to feel that I have to censor what I writing, so the whole enchilada is going to be laid out on the table. Issues are always going to come up with any type of relationship, so for me when they do, you discuss and address them. I would have liked to have rung you and said â€Å"Hey Paul, I need to pop over and have a chat with you, there’s a few things I need to get off my chest and sort out with you†. Crystal clear, is what you were about engaging in any type of conversation along those lines, which is why I didn’t feel comfortable about saying that to you. For a little while now there have been a couple of things that have bothered me lately, and this is what†¦show more content†¦It makes me sad because I ask myself why you feel the need or want to do that. Is it because your making assumptions about how I’m going to react to something you say, that I might give you some sort of grief over what you say, so it makes it easier to spin a tale. The downside to assumptions is that there not always correct. You have brought up with me in the past that there are times that my reaction to something has annoyed and frustrated you. I take it on board when you tell me that sort of stuff, I might not always be successful in doing so, I might need a gentle reminder now and again, but I try my best to change the ‘thing’ that I do so it doesn’t make you feel that way. When you make assumptions you’re actually dictating my reaction for me, and that’s unfair. It makes me angry because you obviously think I’m a fucking idiot, that I’m not smart enough to pick up on it. The other thing that has come up on occasion and been bothering me is that sometimes you make me feel like the dirty little secret.
